Katherin is a freelance filmmaker from New York City. She films, edits, and directs creative documentary and hybrid films.
She has worked internationally as a producer and cinematographer on human rights and social justice films as well as virtual reality and 360 video. As creative director for New Media Advocacy Project, she developed mentorship programs for media artists across the globe and has designed and led numerous trainings and workshops focused on project design, media production and distribution.
Her work has been shown internationally at festivals, galleries, and conferences, including DOC NYC, the NY Shorts Film Festival, Chicago South Asian Film Festival, Studio Quarterly, LA Indie Film Festival, Made in NY Media Center at IFP, Altitudes Festival, Union Docs, i-Docs Symposium, Visible Evidence Conference, and in Brooklyn Magazine.
Katherin is currently based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
